U.S. Gambling data
A survey by the American Gaming Associate, an industry trade organization, reported that eighty-five percent of Americans view casino gambling as an acceptable form of entertainment. In another survey, this one by Rutgers University School of Business, found that American Indian casinos took in $15 billion in revenue in 2004. That is 36 percent of the total national intake by casinos, and that average to increased to 40 percent by 2006.
