Blackjack – looking at all the cards

A basic rule for any blackjack player is to always look at three cards before making a playing decision. Look at the two cards that are dealt to you and then look at the dealer’s up card. Since the dealer must hit 16 and below, and stand on 17 and above, it’s important to know what the dealer is most likely to do before you have to act on your hand. You, the player, can stand on any hand and are not restricted by the same rules as the dealer. Remember, you are not trying to get closer to 21, you are trying to beat the dealer.
