Winning at blackjack

Blackjack or Twenty-one, is different from most other games the casino offers because it is a game of dependent events. The cards that remain in a deck are dependent on which ones have been played or removed for the deck previously. Blackjack is a game that involves a great deal of skill; in fact, the skill factor is so great that if you use the correct strategies, in addition to card counting, you can beat the casino most of the time. This is the reason casinos will ask you to leave if they suspect you are a card counter. It’s important to understand that card counting is not illegal in any casino, but casinos are able to abide by the old English law that says, “management has the right to refuse service”; therefore, you can be denied the privilege of playing blackjack in their casino. That rule has been tested in the courts and the casinos have won; therefore, the casinos will utilize that authority and ask you to leave even if they think you count cards.
