At Texas Hold-em many players feel they must defend their blinds by calling all bets and raises even when holding marginal hands. Don’t waste additional funds on marginal hands just because you put in a blind. Think of it this way, the money you posted in a blind no longer belongs to you, it’s part of the pot. Also, after posting the small blind, don’t automatically call the big blind if you really have nothing of a hand. Saving a half bet will help pay for your next blind.
