Did you know
Years ago, before legalized gambling spread across this land, crap games could be found in almost every part of the country and in most communities. No matter where it was played, as long as it was outside of Nevada, craps was illegal. Crapshooters had devised many ways to keep ahead of the law. In one case, authorities in Alabama were trying to put a stop to street corner crap games. The police would swoop down on a group crouched in a circle, money in their hands and on the pavement, but no dice would be visible anywhere. With no dice, no arrests could be made. The players’ method was simple: they used very small dice, and swallowed the evidence.
