High Roller Talk
Kerry Packer, the Australian millionaire who died in late December 2005 had many extraordinary stories told about his visits to Las Vegas. Here is one: One night at the MGM, he was playing blackjack, his favorite game, and was being served drinks from a cocktail waitress. He liked the service the girl was providing, so he asked her if she had a mortgage? She said yes, and he said, 'Bring it in tomorrow and I'll pay it off for you.'. It turned out to be a $150,000 tip.
