Queen—Argine

Jack—Lancelot, Knight of the Round Table.

King—Charlemagne, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire

Queen—Either Queen Judith of Bavaria or the biblical Judith

Jack—La Hire, French warrior

 Diamonds

King—Julius Caesar

Queen—Rachel, biblical figure

Jack—Roland, Hector of Troy

 Spades

King—King David

Queen—Minerva, Goddess of War and Wisdom

Jack—Hogier the Dane
