A recent Internet survey asked the question about the presence of male or female card dealers. When the results were tallied, almost half of the voters, 47%, prefer female card dealers. Another 35% say it doesn't matter whether the dealer is male or female, but 18% say they prefer male dealers. This just about follows Lance Humbles 1975 survey which he reported in his book The World’s Greatest Blackjack Book His survey also found that casino players would rather play against female dealers by a wide margin.
