Here are some gee-wiz numbers for you! Out of the 197 million Americans in this country, 53 million, or 27% of the population over 21, have visited a casino in the last year. The American Gaming Association (AGA) survey reported this and also said the average player goes to a casino once every two months resulting in over 303 million visits annually. Now you know why the casino always seems crowded when you go. Here are some more figures; in 2002, there were 221 different tribes operating 348 gaming casinos in 30 different states. When you include the 433 commercial casinos in 11 states, you can now gamble in any one of the 781 facilities across this country. (that should keep you traveling awhile)
